Today marks the start of HyperCare! I started at 7:30am and walked the route installing each of the initial flags I had made at 10 different sites. Questions of legibility, surveillance, and public/private took over my thoughts during the route. I hadn't considered the potential of being watched, seen by security cameras. I saw a cop on a motorcycle who seemed to be driving a similar route. I was acutely aware of my presence on the route and the presence of others.
